engaged - now what?

Congratulations! You are engaged!

A great reason to get together and celebrate! Your engagement party is the first of many festivities leading up to your wedding day. 

Here are 5  tips on how to throw an unforgettable engagement party!

• Choose a date and a location within a few short weeks, so guests have time to clear their schedules!

• Send out invitations and include an RSVP date

• Think about some games to add for entertainment, Trivia about the couple is always a good start!

• Ask some family members or friends to make a toast!

• Decide on a theme, dress code, menu and decorations that support your vibe!

But - Don't over-plan (if this is even a real word ;)!

You don't want the engagement party to be bigger or just as big as your wedding celebration.

Watch your budget.

Be wary of all of the "recommendations" you will receive. It's okay to not have all of the details figured out yet, don't stress!

Don't feel obligated to have an engagement party, especially if you are planning on getting married within the next 12 months!
